World Choir Games was waiting for us in Tshwane, South Africa

So proud with ourselves...
It had to be my lucky year. I was chosen by Shenzhen Luohu Sound of Harmonies Choir (深圳罗湖老干活动中心“和之声”合唱团) to join this unforgettable event in Pretoria, which was also known as Tshwane, South Africa (04-08/07/2018). We practised two/three times a week for the last 5 months in Shenzhen. The event was organised every two years and it had around 600 chorus groups from all over the world to join the competition. After all these preparations, we made our way to this World Choir Games. It was such a great experience in my “singing career”!

However, there was a bit of a hiccup on our first day. The organiser did not expect us to turn up and hence we had nothing to eat for lunch or dinner. For safety reasons, the hoteliers advised us not to wander out on our own, not even to the McDonald near by! It was a miracle that we managed to survive. What's more, we were awarded with the Golden Diploma – Level I.

These pictures best described my feelings and I just couldn't add any more words...

As always, one should finish any happy ending with a group picture. After all, I am a Chinese!
