My parents were born in the war time and they were very hard working people. Naturally, music was not in their high agenda when they had to feed a family of eight. Anyway, teenager was supposed to do something unusual, such as taking drugs, dressing up like a hippie or engaging in 'love and peace' demonstrations or just about anything against their parents' wishes. In my case I sang in a church choir, but I confessed I loved the music more than the religious!
