40th Anniversary of Hong Kong Youth Choir

香港青年合唱團40周年暨李靜老師教學60周年音樂會

The concert of the 40th Anniversary of Hong Kong Youth Choir and the 60th Anniversary of Teacher Li Jing's teaching was held in the Hong Kong City Hall. The Hong Kong Youth Choir, Hong Kong Bauhinia Choir (香港紫荊花合唱團), Hong Kong Xiangyun Art Troupe and other performance groups participated in the performance. Singers such as the famous mainland mezzo-soprano singer, professor of the Chinese Conservatory of Music, and doctor of vocal performance Hao Miao (郝苗) were invited to participate in the performance. The singers from both places sang famous Chinese and foreign famous songs, including "Don't Forget Your Beginning" 《不忘初心》and "Love is a Free Bird" 《愛情是一隻自由的鳥兒》, and the performance was a great success!

I was the master of ceremonies of the night! Everyone was kept in high spirits throughout the night with me (?!) who entertained everybody with my unique blend of comedy and wit. The venues provided a very nice atmosphere for the performance. But for some reasons, as one could hear from the videos that most of the time was the wind howling on and on... Perhaps even the wind was cheering for our performance.
