We were invited to perform in the Hong Kong City Hall. It was a fun occasion, however, our conductor took this opportunity very seriously. She spent most of the time practising with us again and again until the last minute. I admired her spirit. We also had 20+ people from Shen Zhen （深圳） to help us out and it was a good performance!

The concert hall was BIG! It could seat up to 1,300 people. I had not been in such a good size platform for solo performance before. However, I was pretty sure it would not be my last time.

The first time we performed together with a group of small kids in a busy shopping mall. Basically, it was a very easy going activity. We did not need to prepare for hours and the main goal was to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Indeed a fun day out for me!

It was meant to be an internal exchange program, however, our maestro Tam required a very high standard from us. The performance took place in the Time Square, Causeway. The venue was nice and posh looking! It was part of the training for a concert on August 2018. We had to sing two songs together, in order to ensure we had the energy and concentration for the performance. Well, it did not go too well and that was exactly why we had to try out!

Our Bauhinia Chorus group joined the Super New Song Contest in Sha Tin Town Hall, although we did not make it to the final stage, we were already very happy to be part of this occasion. It was a good chance to get to know each other as well as to see how a competition being organized. Hopefully, we would be better equipped next time round. 

Internal Exchange Program V

Since Lao He organised the Internal Exchange Program, we had more opportunities to sing in front of the others. It was a valuable exercise and one might get used to the nerve racking experience one day.

Due to the popularity of our audiences, we were requested to sing the "Awaara Hoon" again, so we did together with our newly made headbands!

I also sang solo “The Holy City”.
